IOPn.MtcKmP Status Messages
IOPn.MtcKmP status: A critical error occurred initializing the Keyboard Pointer Provider.
Severity Error
Description An error occurred in the early stages of initializing the Keyboard/Pointer Provider. The error
causes MtcKmP to abort initialization. The IOP will be prevented from joining because the
Keyboard/Pointer Provider will not register with the HP NetServer AA Device
Synchronization Layer (DSL).
Action View the message data as Words. The last longword (4 bytes) of data should contain a
Windows NT error code that can be used by your service provider to help diagnose the
problem.
IOPn.MtcKmP status: A join response was received, but the provider is not joining.
Severity Error
Description The Keyboard/Pointer Provider has received a join response, but the IOP is not in the joining
state. A previous IOP join may have timed out.
Action Contact your service provider for assistance.
