IOPn.MtcKmP status: Keyboard attributes mismatch. Keyboards are not identical.
Severity Warning
Description During initialization, the Keyboard/Pointer Provider obtains the attributes of the local
keyboard. During the IOP join process, the providers compare keyboard attributes to verify
that the keyboards are identical. If they are not identical, this message is logged. If a keyboard
is unplugged when an IOP is booted, the i8042 port driver defaults the attributes to those of an
83-key keyboard. This is the most likely cause of a mismatch during the join process.
Action • Verify that the keyboards are identical.
• Make sure that keyboards on all IOPs are plugged in.
IOPn.MtcKmP status: Keyboard Pointer Co-Provider protocol version mismatch.
Severity Error
Description This error is caused by installing incompatible versions of the Keyboard/Pointer Provider on
the IOPs.
Action Reboot the IOPs in Offline HP NetServer AA I/O Processor Mode and reinstall the HP
NetServer AA IOP software.
IOPn.MtcKmP status: Keyboard Pointer Redirector-Provider protocol version mismatch.
Severity Error
Description This error can only be caused by installing incompatible versions of the Keyboard/Pointer
Redirector and Provider on the CEs and IOPs. The keyboard and pointer devices will not be
available on the CEs.
Action Reboot the IOPs in Offline HP NetServer AA I/O Processor Mode and reinstall HP NetServer
AA IOP and CE software.
