IOPn.MtcMon Fault Handler status: CEx has reported n platform error(s).
Va r ia b le s x – the ID of the CE reporting the errors
n – the number of platform errors reported
Severity Error
Description This error is reported periodically when the CE detects correctable or uncorrectable bus or
other motherboard faults.
Recoverable errors generally do not compromise CE operational integrity; however, they can
become problematic if they occur on a constant basis or if they are accompanied by non-
recoverable errors.

Hardware/Software This message indicates a hardware error.
Action You need not take any action if the error occurs infrequently (less than once a week). If the
errors occur more frequently, or if the number of errors reported is excessive (more than 10 per
message), this may indicate an incipient motherboard failure, and you should take corrective
action as follows:
• Run any system diagnostics supplied with your system to verify the correct functioning of
the motherboard components.
• If the problems persist, replace the CE.
IOPn.MtcMon Fault Handler status: Error writing fault information to <systemroot>\Config\MtcFh.hrl.
Severity Error
Description The Endurance software was unable to store the most recent fault message information to the
MtcFh.hrl file in the config subdirectory of the IOP's system root. This error is not directly
related to the fault condition being reported, but it is indicative of a file system error on the
reporting IOP.

Action • Run chkdsk or any other file system validation program to check the integrity of your IOP
system disk.
• Verify that the system has sufficient memory resources for proper IOP operation.
