IOPn.MtcMon FRU: IOPx <-> CEy cross tuple fault.
Va r ia b le s x – the ID of the IOP experiencing the fault
y – the ID of the CE experiencing the fault
Because this is a cross-tuple fault, these variables are either: IOP1 and CE2, or IOP2 and CE1.
Severity Error
Description This message is generated when both the CE and IOP report a fatal condition. Usually, this is
the result of either:
• A serious communication problem between the components
• A secondary fault in the component that occurred in one component while a fault was
being handled for the other component
Action • Run the MIC Connectivity Test in the MIC BIOS utility between the IOP and the CE to
ensure that the MIC adapters and the connections between them are functioning correctly.
• If the condition persists with no indications of a faulty component, contact your service
provider for assistance.
