IOPn.MtcMon FRU: IOPx/CEy tuple power supply failure.
Va r ia b le s x – the ID of the IOP whose tuple has lost power
y – the ID of the CE whose tuple has lost power
Severity Error
Description All components in the tuple have lost power.
Action • Check the power supply connections to the tuple components.
• Make sure that the line voltage being supplied to the tuple components is within
operational parameters.
IOPn.MtcMon FRU: IOPx <-> CEx tuple processing capability failure.
Va r ia b le s x – the ID of the tuple containing the IOP and CE with the fatal condition
Severity Error
Description This message is generated when both the CE and IOP in a tuple report a fatal condition.
Usually, this is the result of:
• A serious communication problem between the components
• A secondary fault that occurred in one unit while another one was being handled in the
other unit
This message encompasses all failures of both the IOP and CE within a single tuple except for
power failure.

Action • Run the MIC Connectivity Test in the MIC BIOS utility between the IOPs and the CEs to
