IOPn.MtcMon status: A Monitor client failed to complete initialization with the remote IOP during IOP joining.
Client ID = x.
Va r ia b le s x – the ID of the client that failed to complete initialization with the remote IOP. The client IDs
are:
Severity Error
Description When an IOP is booted, it attempts to join the Endurance server configuration by establishing
contact with other IOPs and exchanging configuration information. A client of the Monitor
timed out without reporting the results of the operation. In this situation, the IOP joining
process is aborted, and the IOP does not become active. The joining IOP is marked faulted.

IOPn.MtcMon status: IOPx is faulted and requires repair.
Hardware/Software This message reflects a problem with the Endurance server software components.
Action • Examine the configuration information for the specified client for inconsistencies across
IOPs.
• Examine the event log for related messages from the client itself that provide more
information regarding the nature of the failure.
• Once you resolve the configuration problem, issue an IOP Enable Operation command.
The IOP retries the joining process.
