Chapter 13 MtcMon Messages
IOPn.MtcMon status: IL12 is faulted and requires repair.
Severity Error
Description IL12 had one or more failures resulting in the IL being faulted. (Often an IOP is also removed
when the IL is faulted.) The IL remains faulted until you resolve the condition and then enable
the IL using an IL12 Enable command.
Related Messages
IOPn.MtcMon status: IOPx has been removed from service.
Hardware/Software This message is usually a result of a hardware failure.
Action • Examine the event log for additional details about the reason for the failure.
• Repair and/or replace any faulty hardware as necessary.
• Once you resolve the condition, issue an IL12 Enable Operation command. The
Endurance server attempts to reconfigure, as required.
IOPn.MtcMon status: IOPx cannot be shut down because it is already offline.
Va r ia b le s x – the ID of the IOP that cannot be shut down
Severity Warning
Description This message is generated when an IOP Disable Operation or IOP Shutdown command is
issued and the IOP is already offline.
Hardware/Software This message is generated as a result of a software condition.
Action No action is required. An action is not needed in response to the IOP Disable Operation or IOP
Shutdown command.
