IOPn.MtcMon status: IOPx was removed at the direction of IOPy.
Va r ia b le s x – the ID of the IOP being removed
y – the ID of the IOP that directed the removal
Severity Warning
Description The specified IOP was removed at the direction of the remote IOP. This message is generated
when a transition is occurring in the system and an error was detected on the IOP that was
removed. The IOP was removed so the transition could be completed successfully.

Hardware/Software This message is typically generated as a result of a hardware error on the specified IOP or an
Interconnect between the specified IOP and a CE.
Action • Examine the event log on the IOP shown in this message. Look for the message
IOPn.MtcMon status: An error occurred activating Interconnect ESIx or
another message that indicates the nature of the failure that caused this message.
• Manually repair the problem and allow the IOP to rejoin the configuration.
