Chapter 13 MtcMon Messages
IOPn.MtcMon status: IOPx was removed because it failed to activate the CE Interconnect(s).

Severity Error
Description At least one of the Interconnects to the specified IOP could not be activated during CE boot or
CE synchronization. To complete booting or synchronization, the specified IOP was removed
from service.
When this error occurs, it is applied to a threshold. When the threshold is exceeded, the
Interconnect is faulted.

Action On the IOP reported in this message, use the Event Viewer to locate an IOPn.MtcMon
status: An error occurred activating Interconnect ESIx.Event
message. The ESI specified in this message is causing the condition. When this error
occurs, it is applied to a threshold. When the threshold is exceeded, the Interconnect is
faulted.
Manually repair the Interconnect, clear the faulted state, and allow the IOP to rejoin the
configuration.
