IOPn.MtcMon status: The synchronizing CEs memory size is greater than the active CEs memory size.
CE1 memory size = y kilobytes.
CE2 memory size = z kilobytes.
Va r ia b le s y the size (in kilobytes) of memory in CE1
z the size (in kilobytes) of memory in CE2
Severity Warning
Description The amount of physical memory on the synchronizing CE is greater than the amount of
memory on the active CE. Synchronization is not prevented in this situation. (Synchronization
would have been prevented if the CE with the larger memory size had been booted first.)
Hardware/Software This message is generated as a result of a CE hardware configuration error.
Action When convenient, shut down the CE with the smaller amount of memory and install additional
memory.
IOPn.MtcMon status: The synchronizing CEs memory size is less than the size of memory in use by Windows NT.
Windows NT memory size = y kilobytes.
CEx memory size = z kilobytes.
Va r ia b le s x the ID of the synchronizing CE
y the size (in kilobytes) of memory in use by Windows NT on the active CE
z the size (in kilobytes) of memory in CEx
Severity Error
Description The size of physical memory on the CE that was attempting to synchronize is less than the
amount of memory in use by Windows NT on the active CE. CE synchronization cannot be
performed until this condition is resolved.
Hardware/Software This message is generated as a result of a CE hardware configuration error.
Action Shut down the specified CE.
Add enough memory to make the CEs memory level equal to, or greater than, the amount
of physical memory currently in use by Windows NT on the active CE.
Power up the CE and allow it to synchronize.
