IOPn.MtcScsiP status: Unable to read the HP NetServer AA partition for DISKn. Try using the HP NetServer AA
Manager to reset the HP NetServer AA partition.
Va r ia b le s n – the disk number; for example, DISK0, DISK1, DISK2
Severity Error
Description The HP NetServer AA disk software was unable to read the HP NetServer AA sector for the
specified disk.
Action • Use the HP NetServer AA Manager to reset the HP NetServer AA partition on the disk.
Note: The disk will likely become a copy target, and a mirror copy will start.
• If you do not want the disk to become a mirror copy target, or if the problem persists,
contact your service provider for assistance.
IOPn.MtcScsiP status: Unable to read the Master Boot Record for DISKn, and it will be marked offline.
Va r ia b le s n – the disk number; for example, DISK0, DISK1, DISK2
Severity Error
Description HP NetServer AA software was unable to read the Master Boot Record for the specified disk.
The disk will be offline until the problem is fixed.
Action The inability to read the Master Boot Record may be the result of a different, earlier problem
with the disk.
• For this reason, before continuing, review the event log, looking for other problems with
the disk.
• If no other problems can be found, repartition the disk. See Chapter 9 in HP NetServer
AA Solution Administrator’s Guide for details about repartitioning a mirrored disk.
