CE Enable Operation
This command enables a faulted or disabled CE, allowing it to join the active Endurance server.
Command CEn Enable Operation From IOPx
Console Syntax MTCCONS CEn Enable Operation From IOPx
Variables n the ID number of the CE (1 or 2)
x the ID number of the IOP (1 or 2)
Results To verify that CEn has been enabled, either:
Issue an IOPx Show Configuration command from either IOP to make
sure that the CE and any associated components (such as CEn.MIC) are
not disabled.
Check the Windows Event Viewer for a message stating that the CE was
enabled by operator request.

CE Remove From Configuration
This command removes CEn from the configuration, resets it, and reboots it. When the CE
reboots, it tries to rejoin the Endurance server. If you do not want the CE to rejoin the Endurance
server, power it off or use the CE Disable Operation command.
Warning: If only one CE is in operation, use a Windows Shutdown
command instead. This command does not perform a normal
Windows shutdown. As a result, you can lose any data in the
disk cache that has not been written to the disk.

Console Syntax MTCCONS CEn Remove From Configuration From IOPx
-disable_safeguard
Note: The -disable_safeguard argument is needed only for the last CE
online.
Variables n – the ID number of the CE (1 or 2)
x – the ID number of the IOP (1 or 2)
