At least one supported HP SureStore T4 tape drive and a blank tape
cartridge
For the administration PC:
Windows 95
At least 8 MB RAM
At least 4 MB free disk space
A 1.44 MB floppy disk drive
A network connection to the servers protected by Replica
Administrator privileges for server access
NOTE For successful installation of Replica on the NetWare server,
Windows 95 must be running on the administration PC.
Installing from any other operating system will result in an
incorrect installation.
If your HP NetServer is running Novell NetWare 3.12, Novell IntranetWare, or
Novell IntranetWare for Small Business:
To install Replica on an HP NetServer running Novell NetWare or IntranetWare
for Small Business, do the following.
Before You Begin
Replica has minimum levels, as defined in the Stac Replica README file for
NetWare, but HP encourages all users to be at the latest fix level available from
Novell. A README file about using Replica with NetWare 3.12 is provided on
the Stac Replica Backup Software CD-ROM as follows.
English \stac\eng_nw\readme.wri
French \stac\fre_nw\readme.wri
German \stac\ger_nw\readme.wri
Italian \stac\ita_nw\readme.wri
Spanish \stac\spa_nw\readme.wri
Before installing Replica, print out the README file and review the section,
"NetWare Modules and Specifications." The section defines the minimum
module versions required for proper operation of the Replica software. HP
