2. Align the tape cartridge with the tape drive's opening and push it firmly
into the drive.
You will feel it click into place. Note the difference between cartridge
types when each is inserted, as shown in Figures 6-2 and 6-3.
After the cartridge is inserted, you will hear the sound of the tape being
wound back and forth. This sound indicates that the tape drive is finding
the beginning of the tape, determining the tape's length and format, and
positioning the drive's read-write head.
The two cartridge types look different when they are fully inserted in the
drive, as shown in Figures 6-2 and 6-3.
