2. Thread the LCD power cord and ribbon cable through the rectangular hole
in the rear half of the new LCD cover, as shown in Figure 2-12.
CAUTION Be careful not to pinch the LCD cables between the LCD
board and the rear LCD cover.
3. Slide the LCD board into the rear half of the LCD cover, as shown in
Figure 2-13.
◊ Place the LCD board under the two retainers.
◊ Place the LCD board in front of the three standoffs.
Verify that the LCD board is positioned correctly as shown in Figure 2-13.

4. Orient the front half of the new LCD cover, as shown in Figure 2-12.
Ensure that the front of the LCD is parallel to the front of the LCD cover.
5. Gently push the front half of the new LCD cover onto the rear half of the
cover and the LCD.
6. Thread the LCD power cord and ribbon cable through the hole in the
processor tray shown in Figure 2-14.
