The CD-ROM Drive Does Not Work
Check that a CD-ROM is inserted in the drive.
Check that the power and data cables are correctly connected to
the device.
If you intend to boot from the CD-ROM, make sure that Start from
CD-ROM is enabled in the Hardware Security submenu located under the
Security menu in the Setup utility.

The Hard Disk Drive Does Not Work
If error messages displayed on the monitor indicate a hard disk failure, perform
these checks:
1. Check that all SCSI devices have unique SCSI IDs.
3. If you intend to boot from the hard disk drive, make sure that Start from
Hard Disk is enabled in the Hardware Security submenu located under
the Security menu in the Setup utility. Also verify that the SCSI ID of the
hard disk drive is correct for booting.
