A17. During system boot, the PCI slots are initialized in the following order:
PCI slot P1
PCI slot P2
PCI slot P3
PCI slot P4

Four PCI slots (P1-P4) support full-length 32-bit boards at a clock rate of 33 MHz. These
slots only support +5 VDC power and Universal boards. These slots have keys in the
upper half of the board slot to prevent 3.3Volt boards from being inserted into the slots.

Q18. HP recommends ONLY using the NetRAID 3Si (D5595A) and NetRAID 1Si (D2140A) PCI
board in the NetServer LC 2000. The NetRAID 1Si and NetRAID 3Si may be installed in
any PCI slots.

A20. The LC 2000 supports Novell NetWare 4.2, 5 Microsoft Windows 4.0, Microsoft Windows
2000, Red Hat Linux, SCO OpenServer 5.0x and UnixWare. OS/2 is supported for big deals
only.
The automated NOS install using the HP NetServer Navigator CD is supported on Novell
NetWare 4.2, 5, Microsoft Windows NT 4.0. Please also refer to Datasheet for more updated
