5. Another NetRAID-1Si, -3Si, -1M, or -2M
controller may be installed in each server
for local storage.
. Cabling between the servers and
RS/12s can be any HP LVD SCSI (offset)
cable up to 10 meters. Refer to the Cables
entry of the Shared Storage table for a list
of cables that can be used.
This diagram shows three RS/12s in
use. One to four RS/12s can be used per
NetRAID-4M controller (one per channel).
4. This diagram shows server PCI slot 5
used for shared storage NetRAID-4M
controllers. Each server can use up to
two NetRAID-4M controllers for shared
storage, yielding eight channels total.
NOTES:
1. Diagram shows that each RS/12 must
be cabled to the same NetRAID-4M
channel on both servers, and the
NetRAID-4M controller cards must be
in the same PCI slot in both servers.
All cables are the same type.
