Power Cables and Components Available
When components are installed in a rack, a power supply subsystem for the rack is
required. HP recommends the NetServer LT 6000r be connected as follows:
• connected to a Power Distribution Unit (PDU)--see Figure 2-2
• through an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)--see Table 2-1
• to a properly protected branch circuit or circuits--see "Site Preparation-
Circuit Breakers" in Chapter 1
NOTE A Redundant Switch is available for use between the UPS and
the branch circuit or between the PDU and the branch circuit.
