Press the front panels Escape button to return to the Main Menu.
The Event Log Menu
The Event Log menu allows you to get information about current and resolved
events from the servers event log. These may be errors, or normal system events
like a system boot.
The menu shows you a list of all events currently in the log. To see more
information about one particular event, simply select it from the list.
When you select Event Log from the Main Menu, you see the first two lines of
the log on the servers front panel display:
****Event Log****
>014! POST Error
Use the front panels down-arrow button to scroll down through the rest of the
entries. Here is a sample listing:
****EventLog****
>008! POST Error
>007! TempError
>006 CPU Failure
>005 POST Error
>004 Volt Error
>003 CPU Failure
>002! POST Error
>001 System Boot
Each line includes a brief summary of a log entry, including the log entry
number. An "!" on a log entry means that the problem is still current. To read the
complete log entry for an error, use the arrow keys to select the event listing and
press the front panels Enter button. You then see detailed information about the
event condition. For example:
>001 System Boot
