Remote Control Card
The HP TopTools Remote Control card must be in slot 2 and requires a cable connection to I/O baseboard. The
TopTools Remote Control cable connects to the I
2
C connector J1D1 on the I/O baseboard. For more information on
use of the Remote Control card, see Server Management for the LXr 8000. See Figure 6-2.
Use the Non-Hot-Plug Board Installation procedure to install the HP TopTools Remote Control card into the I/O
baseboard slot.
NOTE The cable for the HP TopTools Remote Control card must be connected to the I
2
C connector,
J1D1, on the I/O baseboard.
