Type 0 to return to the Integrated RA Main menu. A prompt appears asking if you
want to save the changes you made to the administrator configuration.
8. Management Port Passthru
Option 8 on the Main Menu, Management Port Passthru, allows you to make a
remote connection via other applications on your server, such as Windows NT's
Remote Access Service, NetWare's RCONSOLE, or a third party application on
the server that can communicate through a serial port. This option temporarily
bypasses the Integrated RA and turns the Management Port over to the control of
the server operating system where it can function as an additional system serial
port.
1. At the Integrated RA Management Program main menu, type 8 to initiate
Serial Passthru.
2. The application on the server now sees a valid serial connection to the
remote client (utilizing the COM port configured as the Management port).
