Control Panel Switch and Indicator Definitions
Control Description
DC Power Switch Turns the system on, or returns it to standby..
Reset Switch Press to perform a warm boot of the system.
Run Indicator When lit green, indicates that the BIOS Power-On Self Test has passed,
and that the system has started the boot process.
DC Output Indicator
When lit green, indicates that the DC voltages are on. It is connect to +5
volts.
AC Input Indicator When lit green, indicates that the system is plugged into a live AC outlet.
Attention Indicator Normally off. When lit yellow, indicates that a component within the
system has failed or has lost its configuration. Also flashes yellow when
you use the Hardware Identification and Labeling Utility to locate this
particular server in a multi-server rack installation.
Message Display
Displays information about system status and error conditions, including
POST error messages and codes. (POST messages and codes also
display on the system console.) In the case of fatal errors, error message
displays here for one minute before system shuts down automatically.
