Installing an Accessory Board in Slot 1
This section explains how to install a PCI accessory board in Slot 1 via the
installed accessory board tray. This tray is used specifically for installing a board
in Slot 1 when the NetServer is mounted in a rack.
Accessory Board Tray Guidelines
Use the following guidelines when installing accessory boards in the accessory
board tray:
Install only half-size accessory boards in the tray when the server is
mounted in a rack.
Full-size accessory boards should be installed in the tray when the server is
not installed in a rack.
Recommended accessory boards for use in the accessory board tray are
listed in Table 6-1.
