Operating the 5257ACL Tape
Enclosure

Front Panel
The front panel includes the power switch, the magazine door, and the control panel,
which has indicators, buttons, and a display.
Power Switch
The power switch controls the supply of AC power to the 5257ACL. It is a push-
on/push-off switch. When the power is on, the backplane of the control panel display is
illuminated.
Magazine Door
The magazine door is the entry way for the 10-slot magazine, which holds 10 cartridges.
