Selecting an ISO Character Set
Purpose Accesses one of nine ISO character sets.
Mode Standard Graphics or Graphics with an Extended Graphics
Command selected
Format (cc) IISO,
n (cc)G
(cc) Represents the Special Function Control Code.
IISO, The ISO Character Set Selection command; enter
IISO, (the comma is required).
n The character substitution set number; enter a
value ranging from 0 through 8 according to the
desired character set shown in Table 45. If
n is not
a value from 0 through 8, an error message is
displayed and the command ignored.
Table 45. IISO, Character Sets
(cc)G The universal terminator. Enter the SFCC for your
Code V configuration immediately followed by G to
terminate the IISO command.
Comments When the IISO, command is used in a Standard Graphics
command, the primary printer font set is changed to the new ISO
character set. When the IISO, command is used with an
Extended Graphics command selected, only the Extended
character set is changed to the new ISO character set.
