Value Range Description
ADDRESS 36 0 1 through 254 Specifies the address value in a frame’s address field.
The address field can be from 1 to 4 bytes in length.
(See also AFLD).
ABMSUPPON 40 0 0, 255 Specifies that supervisory frames are sent with the P bit
set; otherwise, supervisory frames are sent with the P
bit off.
ABMIPON 41 0 0, 255 Specifies that I-frames are permitted to be sent with the
P bit set. This depends, however, on the status byte in
the (65)SENDTEXT request.
AFLDn 3 1 1 through 4 Specifies the maximum number of bytes to be found in
each frame’s address field.
DSRTIMER 34 300 0 through
32767
Specifies the time interval that the LIU waits for a DSR
signal to appear following a DTR signal. Units are in
0.01 second (for example, 100 = 1 second).
EXTENDED 4 0 0, 255 Specifies that an extended control field is used for
frames.
FLAGIDLE 23 0 0, 255 Specifies that flag characters are transmitted
continuously between frames.
HALFDUPLEX 19 255 0, 255 Specifies half-duplex or full-duplex modem operation.
IDLETIMER 32 100 0 through
32767
Specifies the time interval between iterations of the poll
list for primary stations and between idle line RR frames
for combined stations. Units are in 0.01 second (for
example, 100 = 1 second).
L1RETRY 25 3 0 through 255 Specifies the number of times the ADCCP protocol
retries transmission of a frame after the XFERTIMER
expires.
L2RETRY 24 3 0 through 255 Specifies the number of times the ADCCP protocol
requests an acknowledgment when the remote station
does not respond to a link command or a poll (that is,
when the T1TIMER expires).
MAXFRAME 0 through 1 256 See Note 1
below.
Specifies the maximum number of I-field (Information
field) bytes that can be sent or received over the line.
The value sets the size of the I-field only.
