Parameter
Byte

Recommended
Value Range Description
T1TIMER 30 through
31
100 10 through
32767
Specifies the time interval within which a remote station
must respond to a link command or a frame with the
poll/final bit on. The timer is started on completion of an
output frame that solicits a response from the remote
station, and is cleared on receipt of the response frame.
Units are in 0.01 seconds (for example, 100 = 1
second).
TESTFRAME
(See Note 3 below.)
42 0 0, 255 Specifies that incoming TEST frames are echoed
without passing them to the application if the station is a
secondary station. The echoing of the frames occurs in
all modes and in all connected states. If TESTFRAME
is not set, TEST frames are sent to the application and
are not echoed.
THRESHOLD 26 500 0 through
32767
Specifies the transmit and receive frame count that
triggers the asynchronous reporting of line quality
statistics. A 0 value specifies that the
LINE_QUALITY_RSP is never sent to the ADCCP
protocol module as a result of frame counts.
TRANSLATE 6 0 0, 255 Specifies that the frame I-field is translated from
EBCDIC to ASCII during transmissions between the line
and the host.
TWA 16 1 0, 255 Specifies two-way alternate frame transmission.
WINDOW 17 3 See note 4
below.
Specifies the maximum number of I-frames sent without
receiving an acknowledgment..
XFERTIMER 28 100 10 through
32767
Specifies a timer interval for the level-1 protocol. The
timer clocks the interval to wait until the transmission of
a frame should be complete.
XLENGTH 10 through
11
0 0 through 2046 Specifies the number of bytes of the I-field to translate,
starting at the offset specified by XOFFSET. A value of
0 causes all bytes from the offset to the end of the I-
field to be translated. Units are in 0.01 seconds (for
example, 100 = 1 second).
XOFFSET 8 through 9 0 0 through 2045 Specifies in bytes an offset into the I-field at which to
begin EBCDIC-to-ASCII translation.
3 Not configurable in SYSGEN. This parameter can be set or modified only with a SET CONFIGURATION request.
4 For basic control mode: 1 through 7
For extended control mode: 1 through 127
