(8) TRACE BLOCK The TRACE BLOCK response delivers a trace block to CMI; this response is not an
answer to any specific request. Your application should not make a request with a
function code of 8, which is the function code of the TRACE BLOCK response.
The CMI TRACE facility offers all the capability of this request, as well as a readable
report format. For information about the facility, consult the Communications
Management Interface (CMI) Operator Reference Manual.
