(71) SCAN LIST The SCAN LIST request and response are used to define the polling order for
secondary stations.
Request The SCAN LIST request defines an alternative polling order for secondary stations.
By default, ADCCP polls stations in order of increasing station ID. This request is
valid only if the local station is the primary station on a multipoint NRM line.
The SCAN LIST request takes effect immediately, even interrupting a cycle in
progress. It lasts until the next:
SCAN LIST request
DEFINELIST request that creates a new list
SET CONFIGURATION request that changes the number of stations allowed
The same station ID can appear more than once in the SCAN LIST request. When that
happens, the station is polled more often than other stations on the link.
The request buffer format is:
Function := 71
Modifier := 0
Request ID := A unique value from 1 through 32767,
determined by the application
Text Out := Number of entries in the list
Text In := 0
Text := Scan list :Array of bytes
List the stations in the order in which
you want them to be polled. Use the
numbers assigned to the stations in the
DEFINELIST request.
