Status Code
Definitions
This subsection lists the status codes the ADCCP protocol module returns to
applications in response to requests.
Table 6-4 lists the status codes that indicate a request was successful.

0 Request Specific The request was successful.
128 READY The arriving frame had the poll/final bit on. See the description of
(66) RECEIVETEXT in this section for an explanation.
The status codes listed in Table 6-5 suggest hardware or resource allocation errors in
3650/6100 family controllers.

1 Same There was a bad sequence number in a frame in route
from a controller to an LIU.
This error is usually temporary; try the request
again. If the error persists, call your Tandem
representative.
2 Same The LIU received the wrong sequence of frame types from
the controller.
This error is usually temporary; try the request
again. If the error persists, call your Tandem
representative.
3 Same The LIU received an invalid frame type from the controller. Try to issue the request again. If the error
persists, call your Tandem representative.
4 Same There is no room for the request frame on the LIU. Wait for traffic on the line to subside, and try
to issue the request again. DO NOT
REPEAT THE REQUEST OR MAKE ANY
OTHER REQUEST RIGHT AWAY. If the
problem persists or occurs frequently,
consider making the changes described in
Section 2, “ADCCP Link and Station
Management” in “Station and Data Capacity
on Links.”
5 Same An addressing error (invalid task ID) has occurred in the
3650/6100 family controller, suggesting that an expected
piece of software is not running there. Possibly the LIU or
one of the microcode files is faulty.
Locate the software that is not running and
start it. Replace the LIU or replace the
microcode file(s). Call your Tandem
Representative for assistance.
6 Same A resource shortage occurred in the 3650/6100 family
controller, thwarting communication between tasks.
Try the request again. If the problem persists,
call your Tandem representative.
