Note Any parameter that you set for the local station must be consistent with the operation of the remote
station. In some cases, the settings must be identical. For example, line control mode and window size
must match on both sides of the link. In other cases, the settings must be complementary. For example,
if a primary has a switched input carrier, the other stations on the link must have switched output carriers.
