CP6100
I/O Process
Application makes Guardian WRITEREAD call.
CP6100 routes the request to the protocol task.
The Protocol Manager receives the request and calls Level 1 or Level 2.
Level 2 handles requests related to particular stations.
Level 1 prepares output frames for transmission.
The driver moves the data to the line.
The driver captures data from the line.
Level 1 disassembles the input frame.
Level 2 performs any protocol action required by the input frame.
The Protocol Manager responds to CP6100.
CP6100 completes the application request.
