If the station is DEAD–for 
example, if ADCCP was just 
downloaded–it does not 
respond to a modesetting 
frame. It remains in Logically 
Disconnected state.
After the application makes 
a MODE SET request, the 
station enters DISC mode 
and Mode-setting state.
In this example, the station 
enters Normal Response 
Mode and Information 
Transfer State.
