No action ADCCP/X21 takes no action. If the DCE has cleared the call,
ADCCP/X21 completes your CONNECT request with response Status
100, Error Detail 46. If not, ADCCP/X21 waits for the next event.
To specify no action for a class of call progress signals, set the
corresponding byte to the value 1.
Retry ADCCP/X21 automatically retries an unsuccessful call until a successful
connection is established or until a specified number of retries have been
attempted. The retry limit as well as the time interval between
successive retries are determined by ADCCP/X21 line-configuration
options. To specify retry for a class of call progress signals, set the
corresponding byte to the value 2.
Clear ADCCP/X21 signals “clear” to the DCE and does not retry the call.
ADCCP/X21 completes your CONNECT request with an error code.
The CPS is included in the Netinfo sequence. To specify clear for a class
of call progress signals, set the corresponding byte to the value 3.
If more than one CPS is received during call establishment, ADCCP/X21 takes the
most restrictive action. Clear is the most restrictive action, then retry. No action is the
least restrictive.
NOT READY STATE
NOT READY STATE specifies whether the ADCCP/X21 signals “DTE not ready,
controlled” or “DTE not ready, uncontrolled” when entering the quiescent state. The
default value is 1, which specifies uncontrolled. Set the value to 2 if you want
ADCCP/X21 to signal “DTE not ready, controlled” when entering quiescence.
RETRY INTERVAL
RETRY INTERVAL specifies the time interval between call attempts when
ADCCP/X21 retries an unsuccessful call. This parameter can range from 0 through
65535, where each increment represents 0.01 seconds. The default value is 100 (1
second).
RETRY MAXIMUM
RETRY MAXIMUM specifies the maximum number of successive call retry attempts
before ADCCP/X21 signals an error to the host. The default value is three retries.
You can change the number of attempts to any value from 0 to 255.
DTE Time Limits
TIMELIMIT T1 through TIMELIMIT T7 specify various time limits that ADCCP/X21
uses when waiting for DCE responses during the X.21 call establishment procedure.
These parameters can take values from 0 through 65535, where each increment
represents 0.01 second. If you set the value of a TIMELIMIT parameter to 0,
ADCCP/X21 will not use that timer during call establishment.
