Writing Applications that Use 6100 BSC
START/STOP TRACE Request and Response
These requests and responses are used by CMI to trace and
report line traffic and protocol events. Your application
should not use the following request and response codes:
3 which starts a trace
4 which stops a trace
8 which delivers a trace block to CMI
The CMI TRACE facility offers all the capability of these
requests, as well as a readable report format. For information
about the facility consult the CMI/CMP Operator's Guide.
