Value (Hex) Description
9 The value specified for ID exchange (BSCIDEXCH)
is out of bounds--the only legal values are
0 and 1--or you specified ID exchange for a
nonswitched line.
A The value specified for protocol (BSCPTPT) is
out of bounds. The only legal values are 0,
1, %200, and %201.
B The value specified for initial SYN characters
(BSCSYNCS) is out of bounds. The legal values
are 3 through 255.
C This code isn't used.
D The value specified for the read timeout
(BSCREADTO) is out of bounds. The legal values
are from 0 to 32767.
E The value specified for retry count (BSCRETRIES)
is out of bounds. The legal values are 0
through 255.
F The value specified for block length (BSCITBSIZE)
is out of bounds. The legal values are 0
through 32767, but a value greater than 4K
doesn't make sense.
10 The value specified for the block check sequence
(BSCLRC8) is out of bounds. The only legal
values are 0 and 1.
11 There is an error in the user-defined translate
table.
80 The function field in the request is invalid.
81 The modifier field in the request is invalid.
82 The text out field in the request is invalid.
83 The text in field in the request is invalid.
87 The Text Out value in a WRITE or WRITEREAD
request exceeds 4096.
