Writing Applications that Use 6100 BSC
Value (Hex) Description
88 The Text In value in a READ or WRITEREAD
request exceeds 4096.
89 The Text Out value in a WRITE or WRITEREAD
request is 0. It shouldn't be.
8A The Text In value in a READ or WRITEREAD
request is 0. It shouldn't be.
8B The Text In value in a WRITE request is not
equal to 0. It should be.
If the status field contains a 190 (subsystem software error),
the detail field provides more information about the error.
Record the value in the detail field, as well as any messages
that have appeared on the operator log. Run a trace (with all
"CLIP" options) and submit the output to your Tandem
representative.
The detail codes have the following meanings in the context of
status code 190:
Value (Hex) Description
1 The configuration of the line failed.
2 A trace could not be initiated.
8001 The size of the request is inconsistent with
the value of Text Out. That is, the frame size
isn't equal to Text Out plus 8.
