Writing Applications that Use 6100 BSC
 Value (Hex) Description
15 You attempted to make a second consecutive
 conversational reply. In conversational mode,
each station is allowed one text reply, after
which the first station to make a text reply
must send an acknowledgement. This restriction
and status detail code do not apply to
 multileaving state.
16 The remote station answered a line bid with
ENQ. (See the description of status code 166.)
The local station is a secondary station, so no
 retries occurred.
17 The remote station answered a line bid with
ENQ. (See the description of status code 166.)
The local station is a primary station; retries
 occurred but were unsuccessful.
18 You tried to use RVI to acknowledge the first
received block after a bid. BSC doesn't allow
this practice; you must send ACK 0 or ACK 1.
40nn The low-order byte contains a code to represent
the line state. If the request was a READ, it
may have been cancelled by a HALT READ request.
Otherwise, make a note of this value to discuss
 with your Tandem representative.
80nn The low-order byte contains a code to represent
the protocol event. Make a note of this value
to discuss with your Tandem representative.
C00n The low-order bits identify the modem error.
A value of 1 stands for DSR loss or too
