Writing Applications that Use 6100 BSC
You can change only two parameters after the line is connected.
By making a WRITEREAD call with the SETMODE request, you can
change the retry count for the line or the block length for
transparent text. A change you make with the SETMODE request
lasts until the next download, or until you make another SETMODE
request, or until CMI or the application makes a SET
CONFIGURATION request.
The SET CONFIGURATION and SETMODE requests are described in
detail later in this section.
