START TRACE Request

The START TRACE request is used by CMI to trace and report line

traffic and protocol events. Your application should not use the

START TRACE request (function code 3).

The CMI TRACE facility offers all the capability of this request,

as well as readable report format. For information about the

facility, consult the CMI Operator’s Guide.
