FILE SYSTEM ERROR CODES
----------------------------------------------------------------
100 Controller Not Operational. The controller is not
present in its slot, is not addressed correctly, has
not been powered up, or has not been downloaded.
Prepare the controller for operation before you try
the request again.
----------------------------------------------------------------
124 Non-responding LIU; trying to reset. The Line
Interface Unit is not present in its slot, has not
been powered up, or is otherwise not working.
(CP6100 issues a status probe every 10 seconds over
the primary path. This message means that there was
no response to the most recent status probe and that
the CSM is trying to reset the LIU.) You may want
to retry this request, in case the reset succeeded.
Otherwise, prepare the unit for operation--power it
up and use CMI to start it. This error can also
indicate a loss of power to the BOB; prepare the BOB
for operation by restoring power to it.
----------------------------------------------------------------
160 Request Invalid for Line State. Probably an
operator used CMI to stop, suspend, or otherwise
change the state of the line during your request.
If no one was using CMI, the Line Interface Unit
malfunctioned. Check the console for messages
regarding a hardware failure; have the operator use
CMI to make the line accessible again, and reissue
your request.
----------------------------------------------------------------
201 Error in Message System Interface. This message
means CP6100 couldn’t communicate with the
application. Possibly someone stopped both CPUs in
which CP6100 was running; repeat the request when
CP6100 is running again. If the problem persists,
call your Tandem representative.
