| 161 An error occurred within the 6100 subsystem. |
| Note the contents of the status detail field |
| and call your Tandem Representative. If you |
| can reproduce the error while running a Level 2 |
| trace of the line, submit the output from the |
| trace to your Tandem Representative. |

| 162 Request timed out on read or write operation. |
| The line state is not known when this occurs. |
| Send an EOT to reset line. |
| |
| 163 EOT received. Polled station has no data to send. |
| |
| 172 Response incompatible with 6100 MPS-B protocol. |
| |
| 173 Transmission error (maximum number of NAK codes |
| sent or received). The message had an error; for |
| instance, the BCC comparison didn’t work or |
| control characters were embedded in the text. |
| Alternatively, the message was acknowledged with |
| NAK by the other station. In either case, retries |
| were unsuccessful. There could be a line quality |
| problem, or a malfunction in the remote station. |
| The line state is not known when this error |
| occurs. Send an EOT to reset line. |
| |
| 176 Poll sequence ended and no station responded with |
| data. |
| |
| 177 Text overrun. The message received was larger |
| than the Text In value would allow. No data is |
| delivered to the application process. |
| |
| 178 No Poll/Select List specified. |
| |
| 190 An error occurred within the 6100 subsystem. |

| and call your Tandem Representative. If you |
| can reproduce the error while running a Level 2 |
| trace of the line, submit the output from the |
| trace to your Tandem Representative. |
