CONTROL Requests
The CONTROL request can be used for any of the following
functions:
To send an explicit negative acknowledgement (EOT) in response
to a message received from a station. Also, this can be used
to cause the line to be reset following a read error.
To CONNECT a switched line by raising Data Terminal Ready
(DTR) and waiting for Data Set Ready (DSR) to raise.
To DISCONNECT a switched line by dropping DTR and waiting for
DSR to drop.
