SCF Storage Event Messages
1013 START-SPECIAL The storage subsystem manager successfully places an 
object into the SERVICING state, substate SPECIAL.
1014 STOP The storage subsystem manager successfully places a 
device into the STOPPED state, substate DOWN.
1015 STOPOPENS The storage subsystem manager blocks any future 
attempts to open files on a magnetic disk.
1016 SWITCH The storage subsystem manager changes the active 
path to a device.
1017 CHECKIN-LAUNCH The storage subsystem manager fails to launch a 
processor check-in task. 
1018 DISK-CHECKNAME-
LAUNCH
The storage subsystem manager fails to launch a disk 
rename notification task.
1020 CONFIG-GETINFO-
ERR
The storage subsystem manager receives an 
unexpected error when querying a process for 
configuration information.
1021 ADD The storage subsystem manager defines an object and 
adds the object to the system configuration database.
1022 DELETE The storage subsystem manager removes an object 
from the system configuration database. 
1023 ERROR-IN-SIFM The storage subsystem manager receives an error 
when communicating with the SCSI Interface Monitor 
(SIFM).
1024 DEVICE-ALTER-
STOP
The storage subsystem manager reports an implicit 
device termination caused by an ALTER command.
1025 ZCNF-ACCESS-
ERROR
The storage subsystem manager fails to access the 
configuration utility process ($ZCNF). 
1026 ADAPTER-AUTO-
FAIL
The storage subsystem manager fails to autoconfigure 
an adapter. 
1027 ADAPTER-AUTO-
RETRY
The storage subsystem manager is waiting for a 
resource that is blocking autoconfiguration of an 
adapter.
1028 CRU-INSERTED The storage subsystem manager receives a hardware 
insertion event from the configuration utility process 
($ZCNF).
1029 CRU-REMOVED The storage subsystem manager receives a hardware 
deletion event caused by the $ZCNF.
1030 WRONG-CRU-
INSERTED
The storage subsystem manager detects that the 
hardware insertion event received does not match the 
configuration information in the system configuration 
database.
