Plan the Installation
Before you install a 6760 adapter in a system, you’ll need to decide which enclosure
slot to install the adapter in. Figure 2-1 shows the slots available for the 6760 adapter
on an I/O enclosure and a processor enclosure.

Processor enclosure slots 53 and 54 can be used
for 6760 adapters. Processor enclosure slots 51
and 52 are normally reserved for ServerNet
expansion boards (SEBs) or modular ServerNet
expansion boards (MSEBs), but can be used for
6760 adapters, if available.
