Connecting a SCSI Cable to an S-SAC
Follow this procedure for each SCSI cable you are connecting to the adapter. Install
the connectors in the SACs starting with SAC 1 at the bottom of the adapter.
1. Verify that the cable is properly connected to the tape drive (always attach the
cable to the tape drive before connecting it to the S-SAC).
2. Grasp the SCSI cable connector so that the longer side is on the left (see
Figure 2-8).
