Example: INFO TAPE Detailed Report
To view detailed configuration information about a tape drive, use the SCF INFO TAPE,
DETAIL command. The following command produces a report such as the one shown
in Example 3-5.
-> INFO TAPE $TAPE0, DETAIL
This report shows that $TAPE0:
•
Is controlled by a 6760 adapter (denoted as SNDA)
•
Has processor 0 assigned as the primary processor

Subsystem.
SAC Name shows the name of the SAC this device is connected to.
The name is determined by concatenating the adapter type
with the adapter location and the physical location of the
SAC in the adapter.
SAC ID shows the identification address of the SAC this device is
connected to. For SCSI devices, this address is either 6 or
7. For fiber-optic devices the SAC ID is the same value
shown in the SAC Sub Device field.
SAC Sub Device shows the physical location in the adapter of the SAC this
device is connected to. For devices connected to a 6760
adapter, this number can be 1, 2, 3, or 4 depending on how
many SACs are installed.
