Example: STATUS TAPE Detailed Report
The following SCF command produces a detailed status report about a tape drive,
such as the one shown in Example 4-5.
-> STATUS TAPE $TAPE0, DETAIL
This detailed report shows that $TAPE0 is:
Logical device 103 (LDev field)
In the STARTED state (State field)
Currently online and at the beginning of tape (Device Status field)
A tape drive with a 36-track tape cartridge loaded (Media Type field)

The following tape process information is listed in the report produced by the STATUS
TAPE, DETAIL command.

LDev shows the logical device number for the tape drive. This number is
arbitrarily assigned to a device when you configure the device and
every time the system is loaded.
State shows the current SCF state of the tape drive. For a list of tape drive
states, see the SCF Reference Manual for the Storage Subsystem.
Primary PID shows the processor number and PIN of current primary tape
process.
