How to Determine Which PICs Are on the CCSA
Using SCF to Determine the PIC Type
You can also determine the PIC types on the CCSA without checking the hardware.
The SCF INFO SAC DETAIL command displays a PCI Device ID field and a PCI
Vendor ID field. The following table shows the values for these fields as related to
the PIC type:
The following example shows how to use the SCF INFO SAC command to display the
PIC types on a SAC:
ASSUME PROCESS $ZZLAN
INFO SAC adapter-name.sac-name,DETAIL
The following example shows the output for INFO SAC DETAIL command for an
adapter that includes an SS7TE or SS7TE1 PIC:
PIC Type Device ID Vendor ID
SS7TE or
SS7TE1
0x860 0x10E3
SS7TE2 0x9052 0x107E
SS7TE3 0x9070 0x107E
Note. The PCI Device ID and the PCI Vendor ID display Unknown if the SAC is not
in the STARTED state. To determine the PIC type by using the SCF INFO SAC command, first
ensure the SAC is in the STARTED state (by issuing a STATUS SAC command), then issue the
INFO SAC command.
Example 1-1. INFO SAC DETAIL Command Showing an SS7TE or SS7TE1 PIC
-> INFO SAC $ZZLAN.C2153.0 , DETAIL
SLSA Detailed Info SAC \SYS.$ZZLAN.C2153.0
